Inter Miami

Inter Miami CF is an American professional soccer club based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The club competes in Major League Soccer (MLS), the top tier of American soccer. 

Inter Miami was founded in 2018 by David Beckham and a group of investors. The club's name and colors are inspired by Inter Milan, one of Beckham's former clubs.

Inter Miami played its first MLS season in 2020. The club finished the season in 10th place in the Eastern Conference.

In 2021, Inter Miami signed several high-profile players, including Gonzalo Higuaín, Blaise Matuidi, and Rodolfo Pizarro. The club also hired Phil Neville as its head coach.

Inter Miami finished the 2021 season in 7th place in the Eastern Conference. The club reached the playoffs for the first time, but they were eliminated in the first round by Nashville SC.
